Tips for Business Success in 2024

As we are now fully back in the swing of things after the Christmas break, we’re sure you’re  likely to be getting prepared to take your small business to the next level! As we’re sure you’re aware, this is easier said than done - especially with the current economic instability facing the UK at the moment!

Therefore, we thought, who better to ask for some top business tips for success than our very own founder, Elizabeth!

Here are some of her top tips! ✨

  1. Don’t be afraid of change! As your business grows, you will undoubtedly have to make decisions around what tasks are worth focussing on, what isn’t worth focussing on, and what can be delegated to third-parties.

  2. Embrace new technology and solutions which can make your life easier! Technology can seem daunting for many small business owners who feel as though they aren’t ‘up to scratch’ with how to use every piece of software. By taking some time out to learn how to use new tech, you can save yourself a lot of time in the long run!

  3. Take (calculated) risks! If you ask 99.99% of successful business owners, they will all say they had to take risks at some point. Some are bigger than others, but without risk you are unlikely to see much reward.

  4. Ask for help when you need it! No business owner knows everything, nor do they have the skillset or the time to complete every task of a growing company. If a virtual assistant can do the task better, why not take the weight off your shoulders and pay for them to do it?

Your team is EVERYTHING

Growing a business really can be quite scary, but it is also super exciting and you shouldn’t feel like you’re doing it alone!

By having a great team around you, you are able to learn from each other and add a variety of opinions into the mix! No one expects you to know it all, but by selecting the right people to help with the things that you’re not sure on, you can be rest assured that this specific area of your business isn’t going to suffer!

Take social media for example, some business owners worry that the lack of a social media presence is hindering their business growth as they don’t know what they’re doing! If they were to outsource this to an expert, then they have one less thing to worry about and can achieve great results! It’s a win-win!
